• Salary: £28,000–£30,000 + overtime
• Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00 | Fri 08:00–12:00
• Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Transport: Own transport required is to your advantage, due to where the factory is based.

 As a Parachute Packer, you’ll ensure aircrew safety by meticulously packing and inspecting parachutes and drogues, contributing directly to life-saving technology.

Key Responsibilities for the Parachute Packer: 

• Pack and repack parachutes and drogues to technical specifications
• Inspect parachutes for defects and complete history records
• Draw parts from satellite stores and record batch numbers
• Prepare and operate presses efficiently
• Work on prototypes and test programs as needed

Skills & Experience Required: 

• Previous parachute packing experience is essential
• Able to work from technical drawings and specifications
• Background in engineering or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and responsible, conscientious approach
• Team player
