We are currently seeking a Finishing Operative to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in preparing precision metal components to exact finishing standards prior to further processing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment
• Prepare metallic components for further processing
• Mask bores, holes, slots, and critical areas prior to finishing
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and specification compliance
• Interpret part numbers, drawing revisions, ADRs, and process specifications
• Pack finished components for internal transport and storage
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and process control

Skills & Experience:

• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of measuring equipment and inspection processes
• Understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-focused approach with a proactive attitude
